Tips for a comfortable airplane travel experience:-

1) Entertainment

Entertainment is a fundamental issue with regards to a comfortable air travel experience. Be it long or short haul flights, entertainment plays an important part in one’s air travel. Firstly, entertainment allows you to “waste” time while watching movies, beating your previous high scores in games, etc. Not all airlines have their aircraft installed with entertainment benefits in their economy class. However, certain airlines rent out electronic entertainment devices during flights, which are, unfortunately, very costly. Thus, it is crucial to bring your own entertainment as it not only reduces your “air sick feeling” but also allows you to have an “anti-boring flight”.

2) Reading Materials

Besides having entertainment to enjoy a comfortable air travel experience, having reading materials may help as well. While many airlines have a couple of magazines in place for every passenger, they may not be what you want. Thus, it is good to buy some magazines which you have more interest in, or even purchase the Papers before a flight. (Some airlines provide Local Papers before a flight for free.)

3) Dressing/Clothes

Have you ever entered a plane bound towards a country experiencing extremely cold winters and you are dressed in a “full winter armor”? Well, certainly, no one does that! It is important as clothes determine how comfortable you will be during the entire flight. Imagine yourself stranded in a plane and yet, having all the entertainment, still feel extremely uncomfortable with the clothes you are in. For those going towards a country experiencing winter, it may be appropriate to have your Long John’s on and thereafter, before the plane lands, put on the others, thus only having to be able to bear for a little while.

4) Lots of Water/Moisturizer

As the air in the cabin is rather dry, having lots of water would do good to one’s mood, health, etc. Also, moisturizers would help to keep your skin cool and comfortable, thus reducing the probability of having itchy skin.

5) Some Excercise

Yeah! You are not looking at the wrong thing, its excercise! Excercise is another crucial activity to keep a comfortable flight. For example, you could take a little walk down to the lavatory and walk back. That means excercise! Also, some stretching could do you good too as it excercises your muscles, etc.

6) Snacks

Some airlines provide food, while others don’t. Nonetheless, for airlines which provide food, it is always good to bring other food as the food provided may not be appealing to you.

7) Sleep!

Sleep! The most important activity! Sleeping helps to rest your body, especially after several activities before boarding the plane, such as checking in, waiting for takeoff, etc.
